Mechanical watches are completely disassembled when serviced and cleaned in an RM90 Elma Multi-bath watch-parts basket type cleaning system.
Final timing is done with an Elma electronic watch-timer. Computerized tests are performed on rate, beat error, and balance amplitude during the timing process.
We do general gold smith and silver smith work on jewelry including ring sizing, prong re-tipping, stone tightening, stone re-mounting, and setting replacement. Bring in your diamond ring to be cleaned and we will examine it to be sure the stone(s) are secure. A timely repair can save you from losing the stone(s). If you have lost the diamond in your ring, we can replace it.
Adjustable ring shanks from Superfit and Fingermate are available for those situations where large knuckles interfere with the proper fitting of a ring.
We have among our tools an Orion pulsed plasma welder for repair and assembly on jewelry not suited to conventional flame soldering techniques. This tool opens up a broad range of otherwise unavailable techniques in jewelry repair.
