Peter Pronko PhD, the owner and operator of PT-LLC has a 40 year carrer as a research physicist specializing in ion and laser beam technologies. He is currently involved in the development of ultrafast lasers for use in ablation generated plasmas and their application to isotope enrichment/separation and specialized plasma heating techniques for laser fusion. PT-LLC is the business under which this type of work is conducted.
Dr, Pronko was trained in the field of research physics with a B.S, from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, an M.S. in physics from the University of Pittsburgh, and a PhD from the University of Alberta in Canada, He pursued postdoctoral fellowships at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and worked professionally at Argonne National Lab and Oak Ridge National Lab. He served as an Associate Director of the Center for Ultrafast Optical Science at the University of Michigan, retiring from academtic work in 2003.
Proper Time LLC owns and operates a modern ultrafast laser disignated as a CPA Ti:Sapphire regeneratively amplified femtosecond laser operating from single to multi-kilohertz repetition rate. It is a C-MXR model CPA 2101 and is available for contracted commercial applications in atompshearic or vacuum environments.
